As an organisation we offer over 120 years combined experience, yet a dynamic and relationship focused approach to successfully sourcing and acquiring the finest property and surpassing client expectations.
All of Garrington's search consultants live and work in the regions they serve. Without exception they all have a minimum of five years industry experience and extensive contacts to assist clients.
Chris White, Director, Garrington South East
Chris White joined Garrington in 2009 after over 20 years representing sellers and gaining incredibly valuable experience of the property market. His decision to “switch sides” and act for buyers was a natural progression. Chris brings with him in depth knowledge of the property market as well as the ability to work with high profile buyers in a discreet and professional manner, adding value to any purchasing process. Chris’s key role is to represent his client’s needs throughout the Kent, Essex and Hertfordshire areas of which he is more than familiar with.
With in excess of 25 years experience in the property market, working in a diverse market place ranging from managing multi-million pound new developments for National builders to selling large country houses, it is fair to say Chris has a passion for property!
Having resided in Essex all his life there is not much he doesn’t know about the county and its immediate neighbours. In addition Chris has built up an invaluable network of contacts throughout the region to enable him to offer the best service to buyers looking to secure that “needle in a haystack” property in the right location.
Due to his wealth of experience Chris is both well known and respected in the industry and particularly his region, his valuable list of contacts place his clients in a unique position and at a distinct advantage over unrepresented buyers.
Tim Stranks, Associate
After graduating from Sussex University, Tim began his career as a trainee manager for a National Wine Company, which involved travelling to many clients country houses throughout the region, making him realise he had a real passion for property. Tim decided to pursue his new ambition to work in property and joined an independent Estate Agency in Essex, specialising in the sale of properties in the upper quartile of the market. Having focused on honing his skills in the prime market, Tim progressed into the Country Homes department, handling the sale of many multi-million pound properties throughout Essex and the surrounding Counties.
Building on his expertise in the Country House market, and gaining in-depth knowledge of his home county of Essex, Tim was invited to join one of the largest and most respected National Country House agencies, where he further developed his knowledge of the local property market and expanded his impressive network of contacts. This knowledge enabled Tim to deliver a first class service to his clients, whilst taking immense pride in his work and having a sharp eye for detail. With extensive market experience, Tim decided to combine his knowledge of the property world with his proactive client management skills and enter the acquisition sector of the property industry.
Tim has travelled extensively thought Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and in his spare time enjoys skiing and playing golf and tennis.
Support Team
Jennifer Mullucks, Search Assistant
Jennifer was born and raised in The Netherlands where she spent the larger part of her life. After finishing her degree in Tourism, Jennifer worked
as an event organizer for several years and thereafter as the PA to the Global Advertising Director of Adidas based in Amsterdam. In this time she gained a wealth of experience honing her administrative, operational and organizational skills.
In 1999 she was ready for a new challenge and decided to relocate to London. Her first job was in the property industry and after realizing it was something she was passionate about, Jennifer worked for several prime London estate agencies in Hammersmith, Kensington and Pimlico. After some time managing the lettings department of a large estate agency, she moved to Cambridge with her family and continued her career in the property industry by joining Garrington in 2008.
Initially, Jennifer worked as a search consultant, however after returning from maternity leave she is now responsible for all client service related matters from initial enquiry to client after care. Furthermore Jennifer gives support to the associates and the administration department where needed.
Jennifer is fluent in Dutch and speaks several other languages including French and German. In her pass time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her young family.
Lynne West, Operations Manager
Throughout her career Lynne has worked mainly in the areas of Office Management, Event Management and Customer Service. In this time she gained experience being a PA at board level, organising trade shows and heading up a customer service team.
After nearly 20 years working mainly in the Telecommunications industry, Lynne decided that it was time for a new challenge. In 2009 the opportunity arose to join the Garrington team in a key role as an Operations Assistant. With a wealth of administrative experience coupled with extensive customer service skills, Lynne ensures that the operational side of Garrington runs smoothly and efficiently. As an important linchpin of the organisation, Lynne’s support to the management team and network of associates is invaluable.
When not at work, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family and is an active committee member of her son’s football and cricket clubs.
Alexandra Nicol, Operations Assistant
After successfully graduating with a triple Distinction in Hospitality, Alexandra worked at a privately owned country house as an events coordinator, gaining a wealth of experience for the planning and organising of important corporate and private events. It did not take long before a natural affiliation and appreciation of the architecture of the building became the beginning of her journey into the property sector, and it soon became the natural choice to join Garrington.
Alexandra’s comprehensive understanding of customer service, excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail enables her to carry out a pivotal role, to ensure that client searches are supported to the highest possible standard.
Away from work Alexandra’s hobbies include baking, walking her dogs, fly fishing in Scotland, reading and eating out.
